Co Founder: Artists Without Walls

New York City

In 2013, Niamh & Charles R. Hale co-founded the 501(c)3 nonprofit, Artists Without Walls, based in New York City.

Artists Without Walls (also known as AWoW) is an organization that brings artists from all different disciplines and cultural backgrounds together to collaborate, connect and create. Through artistic achievement, AWoW aims to inspire, unite and uplift people of diverse cultures and communities both locally and around the globe.

AWoW is built on the core idea that the more contact we have with each other in a nurturing and collegial environment, the more collaborative the spirit and the greater the sharing of ideas. www.artistswithoutwalls.com

What Niamh loves most about AWoW is that “it creates a laboratory where people can experiment with their ideas in a safe space and collaborate with their peers in new untapped ways.”
